Due to the delayed return and continued rest and recovery of Sam Nolan Carter — our longtime producer, technician, developer, and one-man technical team — Riffuge Studio Productions is making some important operational adjustments.
Effective immediately, Riffuge will no longer provide, maintain, or auto-renew websites or domain names for artists and bands.
Sam was the only team member with both the expertise and patience to handle website design and ongoing maintenance. Rather than hiring additional staff for this single service, we have decided to discontinue it. We will, however, gladly assist with the transfer of ownership or registration for any domain names or websites previously purchased on behalf of our artists. Please reach out so we can make these transfers as smooth as possible.
We continue to believe strongly in our bands and their music. However, with social media now being a far more powerful and effective marketing tool for most independent artists, we will be shifting our focus toward recording, promotion, and social media strategy.
Additional Change: We are also shutting down the Riffuge music showcase events for the time being. These required significant upkeep that we are currently unable to sustain.
