The PryBirds — Ash Writ Gospel

The album is free to listen to. The digital copy is yours for $5.

Ash Writ Gospel is a sonic manuscript of a broken, burning world.

The PryBirds combine crushing industrial metal, doom-soaked atmosphere, distorted machinery, haunting vocals, massive guitars, and moments of strange beauty into an album about corrupted institutions, technological worship, decaying leadership, blind faith, survival, and the refusal to simply accept the world as it is.

This isn’t an album about giving up.

It’s about standing in the wreckage.

It’s about looking at the things that were supposed to protect us and asking what happens when they become the very things that destroy us.

It’s about faith twisted by human hands, machines elevated above humanity, power without accountability, and the ashes left behind when systems built to serve us begin demanding that we serve them.

And ultimately, it’s about rebellion.

Not necessarily rebellion with an answer.

Sometimes rebellion is simply saying:

NO MORE.
